We had a fantastic stay at Coach House Mews Villa in Matlock. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the town, with easy parking for our car. the house itself felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities we needed for a self-catering stay. It was comfortable, clean, and had a great selection of books and games for entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the little balcony where we could relax with a glass of wine in the evenings. Being just a minute's walk from the main street, we had plenty of options for dining, shopping, and enjoying the local attractions. the bedrooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
It was a wonderful stay in a central location. Cons: N/A 🙁.

This place is like a home away from home, with all the amenities you need for a self-catering stay. It's super comfortable and clean, and you can choose between a full smart TV or loads of board games and books if you want to chill. The little balcony is perfect for enjoying an evening glass, and the location is jaw-droppingly convenient - just a one-minute walk to the main street with bars, restaurants, shops, and even arcades! Matlock is the perfect central spot for exploring the Peak District, with great public transport links and walking routes. The house itself is surprisingly quiet, with a spacious ensuite room on the ground floor, a cozy lounge/kitchen area on the first floor, and a good-sized double bedroom and twin bedroom on the second floor. There's plenty of natural light and accessible plug sockets, and the beds are mind-blowingly comfortable. Plus, there's free parking for one car, plenty of books and board games, and a well-equipped kitchen that makes you feel right at home. Plus, the VIP check-in and check-out make you feel like a superstar! And did I mention no pets allowed and no smoking on site? It's just perfect!

The room at Coach House Mews was cozy and comfortable, with a nice touch of countryside charm. It had everything I needed, including 2 bathrooms with showers and hairdryers. It felt like a home away from home.
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the lack of a bathtub. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The room at Coach House Mews was super cozy and gave off major countryside vibes. It had a relaxed, homey feel that made us feel instantly comfortable. The two bathrooms, complete with a shower and a hairdryer, were a huge plus for our family of four.
Personally, I found the design of the room to be a bit outdated, but I understand that some people might enjoy its traditional charm.
